xTool Recommended Maintenance

Daily (Before Printing or Every Session):

• Nozzle Test: Always run a quick nozzle check or print a small test page daily to keep the ink flowing and check for banding.

• White Ink Agitation: Shake your white ink bottles daily before adding them to the machine to prevent the pigment from settling.

Weekly (or Every 5-10 Prints):

• Clean the Wipers: Use a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth and xTool cleaning fluid to wipe down both wiper blades (color and white).

• Wipe the Capping Station: Clean around the ink pads, wiper blades, and the area where the printhead rests. This keeps the nozzles hydrated and stops overspray or pigment buildup.

• Scraper & Pads: Check the ink scraper and ink pads for heavy residue; wipe away buildup to ensure automated cleaning works properly.

As Needed (Machine Alerts):

• Empty the Waste Ink Tank: The machine will notify you when the waste tank is full. Simply remove the waste bin, empty it into a container, and snap it back in.

• Deep Clean: If you notice missing lines in your prints or severe clogging, use the software to move the printhead over, apply a few drops of cleaning fluid to the ink pad, and let the head soak for 30 minutes before running a deep clean cycle.
